- MUST be CNA certified and in good standing
- Must be knowledgeable of Restorative processes and procedures
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience
- Implements nursing rehabilitation restorative interventions as directed by Restorative Nurse and Nursing Technician in the following areas: Passive range of motion, active range of motion, splint or brace assistance, training and skill practice in bed mobility, transfers, walking, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and swallowing. Reports observations and other information related to the care of resident to the appropriate staff.
- Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on resident physical, psychological, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs.
- Provides direct resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
- Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Documents results of resident care within established policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
- Responsible for weighing residents in accordance with restorative nurse's direction. Performs monthly weights on all residents.
- Other duties assigned.
